Classes are held at Brackenbury Sports Centre Every Friday Between 2000hrs - 2100hrs.

What do I need to wear?
Please wear comfortable clothing for the classes. No Jeans or Shorts. Please note that there will be some pulling of clothing so please wear clothing you don't mind being pulled out of shape. Before you take your first grading you will need to purchase the uniform worn by the class. For details of which please ask.
Is it hard to learn?
NO - Some of the techniques may be alien to you but the objective of the course is to learn simple but effective techniques and therefore shouldn't be too difficult to learn. If you have problems with a specific technique speak to the instructor who will try and simplify the technique or show you a different one more suitable for YOU as an individual
Do I need to be strong to perform the moves effectively.
NO - although some techniques will require a little more force then others. ALL of the techniques have been chosen because they need as little amount as force as possible to achieve your objective.
Is it dangerous?
Safety is paramount in the class. However there is a risk of injury due to the nature of the techniques you will be learning. Each technique will be shown to you first in stages. Once you understand you will work in pairs or groups and practice the technique slowly at first then building in speed with confidence.
Do I need to be fit?
Not overly - However there will be a warm up at the beginning of each class to prepare your body for physical exercise. Just as in most walks of life the more you put into this class the more you shall get out of it.
